Lara is a surf and lifestyle photographer. Although born in the UK she travels to capture the intimate, magical and radical ocean moments all over the world. Lara has always felt a pull to the ocean, she studied Oceanography at university and always made travelling to surf or dive destinations a priority. You will likely find Lara in the ocean with her camera or board, on the beach laughing or balancing her laptop on her knees as she edits photos and eats biscuits. Lara’s easy going nature allows her to create authentic, genuine shots as she relaxes with her surroundings and image subject.

Lara is passionate about social and environmental issues. She works closely with SeaSisters LK, a project in Sri Lanka addressing women’s equality and marine conservation through providing free swim and surf lessons. Lara also loves to work with sea and nature loving brands to help them create fresh ways to showcase their work and ethos.

Lara is friendly, creative and loves to meet new people - making genuine connections and building a community is very important to her.
